Turns of No Brainer

I have replayed from the first turn and from Sevencubed 2nd end turn and have had no problems. 2 different people have won. But the turn you sent does not work and I have no clue why. This early in the game I guess a restart would be best, if everyone doesnt mind.

ok with me. Is there a possibility that the problem is caused by the bug that mixes the faction slots (taking those from my last SP game) ? I have replayed my turn with the correct slots, should i sent it to you, give it a try...?

You may send it but I don’t if that is the problem. It didn’t work for shawnmmcc or me. Plus I have played in over 30 games now without that ever being a problem. If that were the problem than I wouldn’t play because it would be way too much of a hassle before every game to set the factions in the correct order.

Well, I don't think it was me that did anything wrong. I've been running a game called Arcainite Agenda with no problems except for when I forgot to end my turn before I saved and exited one time.... I don't know what the problem is here. Apparently Sevencubed was able to play his turn so I really doubt it was anything that I did that messed it up.

Restart is fine with me, or if sevencubed wants he can send me a zipped save again trying his slot/sequence solution. I would suggest we fix this first, because whatever bug caused this can surface again, and on turn 50 that would really stink (I am carfully avoiding being edited, my language should that happen would not be fit to print) . Also, which SMAX patch is Sevencubed running? I assume he has the English version of the game (I've read the German one is buggy - I have no idea how many versions Firaxis made). We could send him a USA alpha.txt if the problem continues? Or any other files people suggest the problem could be in, I'll happily help out using my wife's college account which shouldn't mind fairly large attachments.

I'm back now, no resolution? Oh well. Actually on my first turn I didn't click "End turn" before saving but DuncanK reported no problems... so what#re we doing?
