    I'm using SMAX v.2, the version is in English, and I always make all my moves, click the END TURN then save, so i don't think there is where the problem is.

    Shawnmmcc, I sent you a zipped save again with the slot/sequence solution, just in case...

                          PS - I thought encountering worms on turn 1 was going to go poorly for me, but it turned out that I beat them so I guess it was a good thing for some extra energy early on.
