it was com's fault.
i never got the turn, and he didn't post here. that's why there's a turn tracking thread, to avoid these kinds of problems.Comment

I got a turn labelled 2147 tonight but the mission year in-game was 2146-- it seemed to be a new turn so I played it and sent it on

probably not a bug. if someone saves in a different directory before you, and you're the last human turn, and if you switch the directory to save in, then you must manually change the year.
also, people just tend to mislabel turns.Comment

hmmm-- I sent the turn on to smartfart on September 5th-- smartfart is usually pretty quick on the turn around-- his profile still indicates his last post on this board was on August 25th

smartfart seems to have disappeared and I see that one other game has already moved to replace him
