If I rembeber correcttly, everyone had them set to 0 Research, 100 Ecomany for some unknown reason. I changed mine a few turns ago.

interesting. how did the uofp fair? did they get a free node per base, and a free tech to start?

Actually, to be honest, I don't remember getting the tech at all. I'll have to check. I've got my nodes though.

i was playing with the assumption that believers got the +2 support, then I looked at the SE settings, and was surprised to see everything at 0.

I just hope I still got my +25% attack, although I guess I won't find out till I'm at war.

it is ok, i tryed to make plained settings game, but it only seems like that. as i've checked with other people that we tryed that it only says that and leaves the settings as initial in the game (unless i pass you my prferences txt file, wich ididnt....).
sorry for the confution, what ever you've seen as initial settings (but the sliders)-doesnt ,metter!

To be blunt, quite frankly, at the moment I'm thinking of dropping out of this game and finding a new one that's being CMNed competently. Perhaps you could have informed us of all these things before we started playing, hmmm?

i would , but since what i tryed to do at the end didnt couse any changes in the game i though it wasn't relevant.

You shouldn't drop out Archaic. I just wanted to know everything I could about the game before I started. Plus, if I can take over for 2 other people, I'm sure you can adjust too.

Question: So even though it says zero for my support, I really have +2 since I'm believers? note: I don't have any SE choices yet.

yes, even if it says 0 -it is not....
