You're going to get a message that i played the turn twice. i didn't, actually. what happened was when i went to open the turn, instead of hitting OK after entering my password, i hit the "save and exit" key...even though i was able to hit cancel on the next screen, which took me back to the password screen, where i then hit OK and went into the game, apparently my little oopsie ended my turn in the game... :-( i experimented on this by opening an earlier turn, and the same thing happened. so, i had to open this current turn again to actually play it, hence the warning message. i assure you, no foul play on my part.

PS: can someone please zip and email me the movie files from the SMAX CD? i misplaced my original copy of the CD, and the burned copy I made a couple months back does not have the SMAX movies on it. Krysia, Darsnan says you have his CD. Would you be able to copy and send those movies to me? (Remember, I don't need any of the SMAC movies...just the SMAX, like Cloudbase Academy, Nettap, you got the idea....)
Or, anyone else who has time to do this....i'd really appreciate it.

Psybermagus, I have been looking into your request. Please bear in mind that; I am not the most adept at computer stuff. I have looked and assessed all the files, they range in size from 4.71 MB to 20.74 MB. Thats very big for me to send over the internet. Especially 24 or so, of these... I do not have high speed internet connection either. I estimate that it would take about 40 hours straight (meaning all at once) time to send these. Any file that takes more than a few minutes to send is in danger of being corrupted due to a failed connection. I have sent a file containing a little over 3 MB once, and it took me more that 40 minutes. Also, if you don't have a reputable ISP at your end (ie. hotmail, or any other account that is free), chances are, your inbox cannot take more than 2 MB. at a time. Probably less if your on yahoo or msn. So all this to say, that you would be better trying this with someone else who is better equiped and savy.This is what it means to be a Spartan.
