We have just founded our second base. If all goes well this will be our first step towards expanding our mission.

Things are moving slowly, but we see some excellent sites for future expansion. If only we hadn't run into those blasted worms so soon.

Last Turn, some sort of alien artifact. This Turn, we have found a unity rover in working condition! Planet has smiled upon the Gaian people in their time of need!

The Planet seems to be conspiring against us, our scouts under constant attack by these so called "Mind Worms", though we have sustained no casualities yet. Abundant Mineral resources are available to us, but to exploit them would be to starve our populace. With the limited resources we found ourselves with on our crashlanding, it will be a long time before we can take anything but tentative steps beyond the walls of University Base.

Our landing site is clearly ill suited to support the mineral-dependent infrastructure I and my closest economic advisors have designed; it will hardly sustain the demands of my beloved populace, my Consumers. Our scouts have brought back little encouraging news thus far; it makes no difference, though, since my citizens have become too depressed by the plumeting value of their equities in Morgan Industries to bother reproducing. It will be very long before I can even begin to plan another base. Urgent measures are in order...
