    How long for the Bs?

    • From the rooftops of their villa's, the citizens of Gaia's Landing could see the conflagartion that consumed the frontier Believer city. How long, they wondered, before The Hive started turning their eyes further east....

        Well, as our patricharch once said in a similar situation, "We have just begun to fight!" Oh, sorry, that my be the Hive's saying

        How about "May peace be with you. As soon as I find my piece, I'll give it to you"

        • The Gaian's have nothing to fear from the Hive as long as they don't intefere with Hive security policy.
          The Believers, on the other hand, were offered a truce and attacked our peaceful envoy on the following turn , they have just witnessed our swift (and yes, ruthless ) response. Surrender now Radman - or watch the rest of your faction crumble !

          • As a totally disintereste 3rd party, the Morgon Excuative today released the following press release to all intrested parties in the conflict-

            "Who want's to pay for mercenaries? Low Rates, exxcelent support. Buy some extra arms, men and rovers today!"

            Who want's the help? Belivers or Yang? Hmm?

              • Hi all:

                Diplomatic Communique . . . .

                ===================

                New Jerusalem, State Department, PY 2117, 0700 hrs

                We're received a diplomatic note from the Hive Chairman that peace is only possible through our demise. Their initial peace offering (aka envoy) was invasion.

                Even now, our strength as a nation and a people are building. We cannot, will not, and shall not succumb to the Hive. A multinational force at this moment is preparing itself beat back this on slaught and the invaders will be accordingly dealt with.

                                Excerpt from the History of Planet:

                                "Diplomatic negotiations proceeded at a furious pace in the various capitals. The profound uncertainty combined with the hostility and proximity of the many factions on this harsh worls led to frayed tempers, and not a few hostilities. The outcome was by no means certain. The Hive assault on the Believers had the attention of all the leaders, but all knew that the current level of conflict would likely seem like a golden age when the dam finally broke. Paranoia and fear haunted the thoughts of every colonist."
