I am sorry guys... but after four years of playing SMAC I have totally hit the wall. While I keep hoping to summon up some enthusiasm for the game it just isn't happening.

So I suggest getting a replacement for me.

I am pretty close to giving up on this game myself due to the long delays.


perhaps 7 player games are just too much. I plan to stay in for now but I hope we can all commit to turning it around a little quicker. I just find that I have no memory or interest for a game I see once every fourteen days.

Well, I have a five week hiatus coming up when I'll be on an extended trip without my laptop. I've canvassed a few lilkelys to sub for me, but no takers.

Maybe we should just let this one die too???

Well I liked this one - and looking back a bit, it does not seem to have been consistently slow. Actually it has been pretty fast at times. But if nobody else is willing to play on...
