Now that you mention it i do remember reading that somewhere - my mistake then.
I'll give a turns' notice in this and other games from now on - 'cos the more i think about it the more it makes sense. Thanks for pointing it out.Every positive value has it's price in negative terms - the genius of Einstein leads to Hiroshima.

I was gonna say something, but I figured your three-way pact would've had it all worked out anyway... By the way, I did vote for myself. Is it forbidden to try and bribe the AI factions (as opposed to using the "AI" to bribe a human-controlled faction, which I know to be a no-no) on your turn, from the council screen? I'm assuming it would be. This makes advance notice fairly important. As I said, I think JPJ was pretty much a shoe-in this time, but we should all try to remember in the future.Last edited by vitamin j; February 14, 2002, 01:58.

It will be a different story next time (2172) if you complete the Guild (Quadruple votes!)
I don't think it is unfair to bribe the other AI factions at the election on your turn - you could always get a head start by bribing them in advance of the election anyway.
To whom it concerns:
The Hive has seven bases
2 are building formers, 2 Synthmetal Garrisons and the rest are building Impact Infantry.
Anyway, where was i ? oh yeah 2153 to JEvery positive value has it's price in negative terms - the genius of Einstein leads to Hiroshima.

2153 to the Mariners.
I agree that it is OK to bribe AI players in elections; probably wouldn't have made any difference.
What happened to that poor defenseless Yang that you guys said I wouldn't have any trouble with. If one of you has been running guns and I find out, I'll bring Miriam out from where I've been hiding her and flood all your bases with missionaries.
