I just read in the manual that 3 players max can share a conquest victory. If you win a diplomatic, economic, or transcend victory, your pact-mates get a higher score, but it's not like they actually "won" per se. I think in a 4-player game, a 3 player conquest victory would be pretty cheesy...

On the co-op victory issue, i thought there was a house rule that any co-op victory could include only 2 human players. There can be an AI in the team as well . However i went back to the rules and saw nothing on this.
I would agree that a 3 player co-op victory is pretty cheesy-- I mean, where is the contest or fun in that ?? two players together now-- thats fun !!You don't get to 300 losses without being a pretty exceptional goaltender.-- Ben Kenobi speaking of Roberto Luongo
