if we cant get the turns back to 1 turn every day or two atleast we might want to consider discontinuing the game. These huge delays arent getting the game anywhere.

I agree, Smack is definitely a burden more then an active player. A week's delay, ay caramba! I say, put the advertisement up ASAP!
