Elections on Chiron!

2156 has been sent to Xarathas.

The Gaians have called the election. The candidates are Misotu and Yang. Voting so far is as follows:

Yang (21 votes) - Yang
Cha Dawn (11) - abstain
Misotu (28) - Misotu
Svensgaard (18) - Misotu

Xarathas (15), Hobbes (8) and Anunikoba (12) yet to vote.

My intentions are peaceful, but our location so close to Cha, Sven and (especially) Yang means that we need good infiltrator data for the security of our hamlets. Despite appearances, our tendency to run Wealth makes us very unpopular ...

We hope that the other human factions will support us for Governor. As a gesture of goodwill, we are very happy to offer infiltrator data to any human faction supporting us. This would not extend to data on other human factions, of course, since this would be provocative and destabilising. But anything/everything you would like to know about the AI factions is yours for the asking.

No, in this game my intentions are completely honourable and peaceful. Except, perhaps, where Yang is concerned I notice that the poor sucker ... ahem ... I mean Mighty Chairman has declared vendetta.

Just hope I can get some defences together before his impact squads come crashing through ...

Otherwise, I shall rule wisely and well, I expect. And will also honour my promise to provide infiltrator data on AI factions. So ask away!
