In a desperate attempt to slow the Gaian onslaught, Sister Miriam sent unguarded infantry across open terrain. The vanguard speeders of the Gaian Host allowed the Believer infantry to commit themselves to open ground, then attacked, destroying the helpless units. Such outrageous measures are to be expected from Sister Miriam, as she becomes increasingly desperate to stop the Gaian penetration of her hinterland....
