Well, from the Gaian perspective, we barely survived a Believer onslaught. For the last 15 Standard Turns all of our efforts have been put into first repelling the Believer invasion, and then carrying the fight to Sister Miriam, and I am now proud to report that the last Believer bastion on my continent, Great Zion, has been rendered completely defenseless, and will fall next turn!

The leader board has been a bit odd all game; Miriam and I believe the University for a while have been frequent military leaders; the Hive frequently the tech leader and sometimes the wealth as well and the PK have until recently been the territorial leader. As for why, well the recent demise of the University and the Believers account for most of that and as for the arms race, well, with the sound of Spartan sabers rattling all night, what else is a self respecting busy little bee to do? (Actually, the University started the arms race as far as I was concerned - although they said that the Peacekeepers made them do it.)
