      2108 to Morgan.

"Oh, for a muse of fire to ascend
      The brightest heaven of invention!"

Fragment, author unknown "Songs of Old Earth, vol. 1," ed. Zodorinsky, Z.Z.; University Base: New University Press, MY 2108.

While the publishing of fragments of Old Terran literature presents a challenging but also rewarding task, the true achievement will be the songs of Chiron which shall praise the battle-deeds of the new warriors.

        WWWWWHHOOOOOAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!

Did we just unknowingly invent time travel?

How is it that SITS (right AFTER me in the player order) sent 2108 to JPJ one minute BEFORE i sent 2108 to SITS???????? My receive time on the turn from Spasmofit is May 13, 16:59. I just sent it on moments ago (and SITS, there was a message that you may have played a double turn on it).

Anyway, just what DID get sent to JPJ? Or is this a genuine case of time travel?

I suspect your post to the board was delayed rather than your time travel theory.

Please see past posting in regard to double turn......

SPasmofiT - looks like you should have had your turn by now from JPJ. Might be an idea for JPJ to resend it - I know SPasmofiT has a problem accessing the boards on a regular basis...

Not sure what you mean by familair? Whilst I'm online I will send him an email asking to resend it to you...

Ok. I'm getting very confused now. I just received TWO turns from Spasmofit. The emails and labels are as follows:

                              5-16-2001 16:27
                              from Spasmofit
                              to: Radagast

                              "we repeated the turn!
                              are you there?"
                              turn is named: ACT051_2109_toUniversity

                              5-16-2001 16:43
                              from: Spasmofit
                              to: Radagast

"Sorry... I just receive the next turn after I'd already sent you the replay...
                              Use this one!"
                              turn is named: ACT051_2110_toUniversity

I have already played 2109 and sent it on to Morgan. From the board it looks like it got around to Spasmofit (and became 2010). I do not understand what the confusion is, nor how two turns could be going around. I will play 2110 later on today (i'm at the wrong computer right now), unless I am informed otherwise.

One thing: it would help if Spasmofit posted to the board when turns were sent, although I understand that there might be a problem with access for him. However, he *did* say his access is fine..... Nevertheless, regular posting helps avoid multiple turns going around (and SITS, re: time travel: the time on my post is EXACTLY the time I posted it.....that's what got me thinking right away. Only thing that *may* affect it is that I sent it from my laptop in a time zone different from the one I normally send from, but my laptop had not been reset...)

NB: do we post our "Alpha Centauri Score" from the turn (I assume we look at the score right before we save and exit?)when we finish 2110? Where do we post this?

Thanks for putting up with my bewilderment.

                                my mistake!
I received 2109 because we thought we had a problem and needed to repeat it.
seconds later after I'd emailed it to you, 2110 came...
                                so, just ignore 2109.

regarding the score, do as U please, since I'm not interested in the contest.
