Poetry has no value as it cannot be measured in currency but currency speaks its own langauge with its own rhythm with more beauty then a thousand stanza's.

"Wood decays. Steel rusts. Even gold is changed when the atom is broken and remade, and tiny subatoms in their own turn come to be and pass away. One thing, and one thing alone endures. Only one thing shall outlast this weary rack of nature.

      That thing is truth.

      Truth!!

The one good that will perdure unto Eternity.

And Truth, brothers, Truth is not diminished by sharing, but increased. This is so of nothing else. Dedicate yourselves to it."

It's been 6 years since we crash landed on Planet and we've established our new home in a beautiful river valley surrounded by large inland lakes and nutrient-rich rolling green hills dotted with red fungus forests. Apart from intermittent short-wave broadcasts, there has been no formal contact with the other leaders as yet, we have not re-established contact with Chairman SPasmofiT's colonists either - I can only assume the long-range communicator he requisitioned from the Unity has failed.

"Brothers in Truth, remember what was said by Pascal was only half true: our greatest glory does consist in thought. But we are not wretched as he would have us believe, save for the grace of God. No, today we begin our counter-argument: we shall build a Centauran Paradise."

              Turn 2106 to Morgan.

Where is the storied Morganic wealth? My display says Lady Deirdre is the richest of them all. What happened, did you try printing your pathetic fiat currency on fungal parchment and find that it dissolves? Or did you try paying your workers in Terran currency (not that they'd ever be able to complain, your laissez faire tactics usually aren't extended to the labor unions)? Maybe it's time to go back to a lemonade stand.

You, in your ivory tower of indifference can never understand the ebb and flow of money for all you see is the measure not the worth of its movement.

Again my computer crashed (this time I didn't even get to look at it). This is due to trying to run the program and staying on the net it seems my computer doesn't have enough resources. Sorry.

                          MY 2107.195:
I got a disturbing report from one of the colonists today. Dr. Lafayette , my senior biolgist has told me of interesting find his daughter made while playing hide and seek with some children in the hills just north of our bio-tents at U.N. Data Acquisition. She spoke of small nest of "singing eels" she found in the flower-fungus. Some of the other children have been admitted to our med-bay complaining of headaches and nausea.

                          MY 2108.003:
It seems the rumours of aliens living on Planet are true , our first scout division deployed northwest of U.N. Headquarters uncovered hostile lifeforms, much like the ones young Sarita described, nesting nearby a unity supply pod. We suffered minor casualties - mostly a strange form of shell-shock. Survivors of the breach spoke of mass-panic induced by the alien's screaching, but the audio record does not account for this. I've ordered the unit back to base for psych-eval and R&R. Our other patrols have been put on high alert.

SPasmofiT sent an email before the weekend saying that he would be away until Monday. For some reason he sent it to me and the other players, but not to you.
