I originally sent turn 2109 to Hutak on the 22nd (see post above). Today, I resent the turn to both of Hutak's addresses. (Perhaps the first one got lost during delivery)

2110 was finaly sent to the Gaians.

Sorry about the delay everyone, I didn't bother to check the forums lately, and those greedy corporate bastard where I add my email account decided to stop accepting attachements(!!!). So I didn't get the message SamIAm sent me. Plus now they are canning the entire service. Oh well, time to get another one I guess.

          Hi all.

          Two things.

          ONe: where's the turn?

Two: As of next Tuesday, I will be gone for approx. 3 weeks on a business-related trip. There is no way I can play on the road. Should I advertise for a replacement, or what?

Seeing as we are newbies, no one might know. Howevre, I have made the same notice in the other game I am playing with more experienced players, so I should get some help there.

Or Solver could give me some hints.

          Happy Canada Day!
          Happy Fourth of July!
          Happy Bastil----oh wait, that's 10 days away.

Not sure where the turn is. The board was down for awhile so people might not have posted their turns on the board...

As to your away thingy see my response in the other game thread and change Tau Ceti to Solver....

                    2111 away!

Score is a lowly 3. Boy, who set the fungus to "If you can still see other colors than pink, there isn't enough"? But I guess our tree-huging friend must be happy.

                      • A few points.

                        1. Re: Twister's alleged profundity. All very nice, but true knowledge procedes from an organization of empirical observation statements into phenomenological laws, which are then organized by higher level theoretical laws into theories. If you can't empirically test it, then its meaningless. Just as much of the Gaian "planet philosophy" is: much emotive value, little scientific value. A strategy focused upon the unity of scientific knowledge is profoundly more useful than speculative nonsense.

                        2. A replacement provost has been located to take my place during my own upcoming sabbatical. I think you will find his experimental and theoretical skills, ahem, "adequate." I will provide more details shortly as soon as his full consent has been received.

                        • ook. Consider me on sabbatical. My replacement is confirmed and ready for action. His name is Hobbes. He responded to a thread on the general multi-play forum.

I have sent his email to twister; if Hobbes wants to make his email public to the rest, i'll leave it to him.

Good luck, good times, good beer.
