Tried this MAP before as a SMAC game. That time no extra factions though. Here we have some monsters, I guess North and South.

Is it known where the Aliens start?

Caretakers north, Usurpers south. They both have 7 cities spread across the continents. And you should never be able to end the vendettas against them.

I am wondering if my fellow players intend to pause for the Christmas period ?

I would personnaly need to pause between 22 and 26 December, but could possibly find a replacement player (if this is allowable) for the few turns that would normally be played during that time frame...

Please let me know what your intentions are.

Main irritation is if someone doesnt't tell so you start wondering if they got the turn or what.
