newbie PBEM game?

    In Velocyrix's strategy guide, he talks about using e-mail and even chat rooms to conduct diplomacy. I think one message per turn is more restrictive than the norm. But then again, I've never done this before either.

      It sounds like the message window on the diplomacy screen is some sort of red herring. If no one feels that strongly about it, how about keeping it social with restrictions only during sunspots?

          No comm during sunspots is fine with me.

          I can just imagine trying to spell HELP!! on the map with scout patrols..

            Not sure what you mean by "keep it social". Otherwise that sounds fine to me.
