  • Hmm I am not sure about that proposal as later in the game some of your choices will depend on the sequence of events as played by the human faction that has gone before: For example rushing an SP.

OTOH this is probably a wind up.

    • Yeah you're probably right. Humans tend to not like things that change game dynamics and can possibly disadvantage them.

      • Nah, it's better to simply wait for the slowies.
That way I can make more TTPP.

        • This is a brilliant idea! But yeah Hercules is right this can be exploited. If I'm secretly planning to instabuild a SP, I could wait till I'm the last to play a turn to cash in all those crawlers, and then immediately play the next turn and grab the SP before any of you can do anything about it.

Personally, I would put that down to being part of the game dynamics. However, I know people like their game dynamics fixed. Anyway I think it'll take obvious enthuasim before I would invest the time to do this. I'm thinking of multiplaying in general, not specifically this game.

Oh about that immediately play the next turn. Well part of the security system would disallow you from playing the next turn immediately. You'll need to wait for at least one other person to play the turn before playing your next turn. It's just wrong having two turns back to back in many respects.

It's actually called welfare in other countries, however it's the only explanation for Engima's comment I could think of. Unless he either thinks I'm rich from some business that I started while a teenager, or that it's easy to hold a full time job while studying.

Actually I could probably manage it if I had the desire, just that I think it would be difficult and the long term benefits would outweight the long term gains.

I'm pretty sure I'd calculate when the turn would come in, then guarantee that I'm online at that time.
I'd snatch the SP, and perform a big :-P to everyone in the area.

Blatant discriminations! Reform needed in Australia!

                  • Um, HongHu? I have no objections on viewing the Gaian turn, but you do need to sent me the password then...

IOW, no end turn is pressed in your turn.

                    • Urgh... Must have zipped the wrong turn in the couple minutes before the kids get home. Have to do the same thing again. Sorry. I'm not doing this on purpose to get Enigma in the >_< state, I swear.

                      • Just called my ISP since I've also got two other emails returned and heard this message: "We are currently experiencing service interruptions in your area. Sorry for the inconvenience."

I guess this may be the reason of the email delay problem.

                              • Bit difficult to come to agreements when you haven't met in game.

Also I'm not particularly annoyed by the turnage.

                                Edit:
You know the funny thing was I thought I was the one that was supposed to be the war monger. I guess I was doing a pretty lousy job so someone else had to step up.
