Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
Wow, you guys work fast. I'm floored by the great response. Spartans are fine with me. My email is rsfarrell@yahoo.com. Special thanks to Googlie for taking this up.

Lados, if you would like to play the Hive (I know, a little bit opposite of the PK, but still probably more enjoyable than Miriam) I'll actually play as Miriam and see how well I do...
That would upgrade us to a seven-pack, wouldn't it?
Otherwise I'm afraid you'd have to wait for another game set-up thread... which I'm sure you could request.
I'm not conceited, conceit is a fault and I have no faults...
Civ and WoW are my crack... just one... more... turn...
I'm working on the set-up - have left all seven factions in right now until Lados gets back to us (if he doesn't want the Hive, and as rsfarrell said intially that he'd play anyone, Lados could play as the Sparta (an easier faction to play anyway, with not too many negatives) and rsf as the Believers.
Or if that were too daunting for rsf, then he could play the Hive with FlameFlash (who is more of a veteran PBEMer) playing as the B's
Everyone now confused??
And if Lados doesn't want to play anyone other than the PK's, then it's another game for him, and we stick to the sixpack and drop the Believers from the game.
Oh, and Fosse, I need your e-mail addy to send you the password, etc

No AI to tinker with, so I'll be able to get this one playtested for fairness and sent out later today.
Huge map, 50% to 70% water, average everything,
Librarian level (makes drone contol slightly easier for newer players)
This set of parameters:
This set of rules (note my suggested changes to the Apolyton Tournament Rules set - in bold italics - please post any comments you have on these proposed changes):
*******************************************
> Multiple reloading of the game to try for different effects is forbidden. If a reload is necessary because of a game crash etc., an explanation should be posted to the turn administration thread.
> Multiple drops or orbital insertions using the right-click menu is forbidden. So is airdropping from outside a base/airbase, or after having moved (except on a magtube) using the same method. Using the 'i' key when you want an airdrop means you will automatically comply with these restrictions.
> Inserting Stockpile Energy into the build queue after a military unit is allowed.
> If a player employs a tactic that causes a state of vendetta, they are not allowed to "accept" a pending diplomatic agreement with that faction in the same turn, causing a change in diplomatic status or the transfer of energy or knowledge.
> If an aggressive probe action (anything except infiltration) is used on a faction you have a truce, treaty or pact with, you must select 'Declare Vendetta' in the dialog box that appears afterwards, and notify the victim of your transgression, unless you have received permission in advance. No notification is required in other cases.
> Upgrading units with the design workshop is allowed at any time
> Communications only allowed between factions that have obtained each others' commlink frequencies in-game. (the embedded alpha.txt will reflect this)
> Social engineering choice limited to one switch per line per turn. (no flip-flop within turn!)
> Psi units cannot be assigned multiple point patrol routes (avoid instant demon boil bug!)
> Whenever the planetary council is called, the caller (or the first player to vote if the AI calls it) should post a notification to the thread, including vote totals (if applicable) and who has already voted for what. The other players should post how they vote.
> No base trading with the AI. Extortion is allowed.
Great! Can't wait to get going. I have a question about the probe action rules... I assume that the box you refer to only appears when the probes get caught?
So if someone steals all of my tech, but their probe teams get a way with it, I'd never know. I'd only find out when I get a little note saying, "Hey, Fosse. I probed the heck out of you. Oh yea, VENDETTA!"
