Does someone has extra time/energy to calculate the average? I'm all spent out.

I think there is definitely a connection between the type of game SMAC is and the type of person that enjoys it.

I think that; in order to fully appreciate SMAC, it has to be approached in an empire developing style of play. Where you ponder today's move, considering the implications & ramifications that it will have upon the future.
