        ...... and he looked up as Lieutenant-Colonels Maniac and Googlie burst simultaneously into the room, and upon seeing the Doctor sitting on the bedside stroking Corazon's hair and muttering "there now, my dear Colonel, there now" as she looked vacantly at him, drool dribbling from the corner of her mouth, said in unison "What the HELL is going in here?", apparently one of the first interrogation phrases learnt at the Officers Training School in Sparta Command

          The Doctor hastily jumped to his feet and snapped to attention, saying "It's worse than you think, Sirs, as I believe that somehow the neural implants of the Colonel have been tampered with while she was in a coma and now she thinks she is a Gaian sex doll, Sirs!!"

                      • Colonel Googlie's wrist watch beeped, and after looking at it, he announced: "Aha, the operation at the Straits of Sorrow was succesful. Time already for a next round of promotions! Carry away those colonel badges!"

                        Maniac was about to take his colonel badge, when Googlie pondered since when they were breeding mind worms, upon which the realization dawned they weren't, meaning this worm had to be a Gaian intruder; Googlie's warning shout came too late however as Maniac touched the badge triggering a nuclear explosion levelling whole Sparta Command and killing everyone.

                        • We could start a new one and see how it'll do. This one was losing too much coherence for my taste, I think. Plus we can wrap the story up in the next Phalanx.
