Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
I agreed to do two turns, . . . but, . . . if you would like to do the turn I can download it and take a look.
My actual preference would be for jtsisyoda to do it.
In any event I would like us to have a consensus of what we are going to do before we do it. Please note the PM from the DA saying that we can't do the DAP this turn.
I got this from Arginne in response to my question as to why he stopped posting. I asked about a week ago. He just replied now.
RE: Re: Stopped posting?
I have been thinking and have come to a decision. I do have interest in the ACDG and would return to the corporation on the following terms.
1) Be waging an effective war against Sparta or get peace. The Spartans seem willing to get peace, albeit I don't know under what sort of terms.
2) Have a way of reaching factional decisions or a consensus on an issue. We were not able to deal with Sparta before war status, because we had no official policy towards them. In other words, a constitution.
Damage report: MorInd is gone indeed. The worst part is the sudden appearance of drones all over the place - we lose more than half of our energy output with all necessary doctors in place and we might lose a few more population points due to starvation next turn.
The Half SP on Wheels is still there though.
Available tech choices: Doc: Init, IntInt, CentEmp, Neural Grafting, Field Modulation, Adaptive Doctrine.
I would vote for Neural Grafting but I'm afraid it doesn't really matter... next tech in 20 turns with our reduced energy output...
... which may open interesting possibilites: Given the fact that we still have the Half SP, we can easily build a unit with SFF next turn, upgrade a few units more, switch our labs off and go kick some Spartan ass before they get D:AP.
We might not win but Sparta won't either and we are still miles ahead of DA and Gaians.
Note: The drone levels above are with current psych allocation.
I peeked at the turn... didn't do anything permanent, but I have a few suggestions.
Money Valley has 10 mins... It will only cost about 70 ec's to rush an HQ there. We have 390, I think.
Energy allocation could be 40econ/30psych/30labs, with doctors at three bases... a couple of which might starve down to two, but they'll lose (relatively) unproductive farm workers. After the HQ is complete next turn, efficiency will improve, which may allow 40/20/40 next turn. That will improve the tech rate to maybe every 10-12 turns??
The Hive units moved closer. We should have our former (on the square with the defense attorney) complete the forest. The former to the NE of there should bug out to the NW... no sense losing it when it won't finish its forest anyway. The CP should go north obviously. Choke should reinforce with Plasma units, I guess, although I forget what it was building already... if it's in the middle of something else and past 10 mins, some of the other southern cities can lend a plasma unit or two.
There's a CP a little north of where Mor Ind used to be. It should found a new base on the same spot. What to name it? Something to thumb our noses at Sparta, perhaps? If the CP goes along the road 3 squares this turn, it can go SE then NE on the following turn and found a base before it runs out of movement.
I noticed the Angels only have 9 cities. Whatever that means.
"Give to Caesar what is Caesar's? Pay no attention to Caesar. He doesn't have a clue what's really going on." -Cat's Cradle
This may have been said already, but I suggest building a proto missile infantry somewhere. Then later we can build a missile rover for pre-emptive strikes at future Hive units at the choke point.

Sparta upgraded their Elite Impact Rovers to Elite Gatling Amphibious Rovers.
By Playing ith the Sliders I noticed that if we ran 40% Pysch we could pacify all but one of the rioting bases.
Gaia offered a treaty. I accepted.
Sparta opened the comm channel. Are they offereing a truce? If so, what's in it for us? I see nothing. It only slightly limits our ability to eject them (if they are still here). They care nothing of breaking any truce if it's in their interst to do so. I closed the Spartan commlink.
I did not try to contact Uni, Hive, or Lal.
I can see no Spartan land units. I can still see the Spartan ship that destroyed our plasma foil and the ship north of our land.
The two Hive infantry units are one move closer to Choke on This.
We have ~385 in EC.
DAP did not come up as one of the tech options.
I don't know where or when the next blow will fall. I don't know how much it cost Sparta to upgrade those rovers and what they have left over.
The longer we can hold off the Spartns the strong we will be. We need air power.
Proposed moves.
Search invaded area to ensure no Spartans left behind lurking.
keep moving the SW gator west in search of a Uni base to infiltrate to get the express ticket home.
Retreat CP, Probe and former to Choke on This.

PS
Who's going to play the turn. We have a lot of activity from everybody right now. I agreed to do 2 turns, but someone else has a burning desire to do it then I don't mind letting someone else do it.
Ok here is what happened:
They did not take Mussels, question here: when they go from sea to a road square did it cost them a full movement point?
Sparta landed near Morgan Mussels taking out the supply crawler.
a former was in their way, that was also destroyed.
our third loss was another former, on the road to Morgan industries.
We then lost a synth rover near Morgan industries. Morgan industries was probably taken at this point.
our 5th loss was another crawler near mussels.
our 6th loss was the plasma defender at mussels
our 7th loss was another synth rover at Argi Narnia
Our 8th loss was the plasma hoverboat to their cruiser.
Finally they also bombarded a former/colony pod pair.
Doing all this cost them best case(for them) probably 4 amphibious gattling rovers. around 200 minerals. it may have taken 8 which would be around 400 minerals.
they clearly won this, even ignoring the unit costs the transit system alone was worth far more then that. But, what about their industry, the game says that they have 48 population points, did all of their cities go to size 3 even though they destroyed the pts on that same turn? or did they conquer that much from Zach?
Now for good news:We got Synthetic fossil fuels this term. More bad news, I couldn't select dap.
The PEG is safe, they can't cheese that away from us. Vander seems quite well defended, and skorpi's has the peg. we either need to upgrade everyone in Vander to plasma armor, or sever the roads to it as well.
The hgp is another matter, we need to sever the road connections to the mainland near it.
likewise, fixing the drone problem looks to require a global 30% pysch AND some entertainers in 3 cities.
and as was stated yang has sent two units at us.
We don't have any information about Spartan progress in fighting yang, we should get some.
I'll post a writeup(with crudely drawn bitmaps shortly).
Why are our cities building trance plasma sentinels instead of shell units to upgrade?
Our gator boat near DA should pop the two pods(it can only get 1 this turn).
our gator boar near us should stay in the fungus to try and steal any ship that attempts to land stuff at vander.
Our plasma hoverboat should come back to base and get upgraded, then we should start hunting spartan shiping with it.
