I was reading the turn threads and had a small question thought I'd ask here for my own sake.
Seems to me that you are saying whenever you pop a pod you got 1 point toward accumulated research point, is that correct? Is this something unique for Morgan? Sorry for being ignorant.

Yep, every pod popped gives 1 research point. Can be extremely useful in the early game as we've proved two times already (three?). It's not a Morgan only thing, it's just an undocumented feature IIRC.
I also didn´t know that, but when the issue was raised here, I tried it in a singleplayer game, and it really works wonders. But then, I also didn´t know that bases adjacent to pods allow for secure pops, or that you can design armoured probe teams that act as "clean" defenders...
It really makes me a Noob again when I watch those veterans play the turns...
Sorry to turn this thread into snowflake learning SMAX thread. But I was wondering if I could ask why disbanding a scout will have different ec values for different units in the following post (2109 thread)?

Appreciated.

I guess it's about using the 5 scout minerals to get faster to the magic first ten minerals after which a former costs only 25 credits (19 with 10% industry) to rush = becomes affordable.
Oh I get it. In your situation the scout minerals would apply to first line for CP and second line for formers so the difference is 4 to 1 rush versas 2 to 1 rush or something like that?
