Are CMNs allow to point out strategic mistakes Drogue?
I'd say no. However, if your willing to keep a running log of your observations of the Gaians throughout this game, why I'd be very interested in reading it afterwards to see your observations at certain points in the game (and no going back and editing previous comments to reflect later outcomes! ).
I'm going to sleep now. If anyone dislikes the planned course of action, object in the next 9 hours or it'll be too late for this turn. I'll move the CP west and take an end-of-turn save, then forward the turn to whoever-it-is. (Who do I send turns to, anyway? I can figure out what faction comes next, but what's the email address?)
Unfortunately when I get stuck into the roleplay I might not be able to keep detailed logs of game specifics. Currently keeping a general journal.
Whenever I say big mistake most other people consider it a small mistake anyway. I call it an disaster when other people call it a big mistake. So no need to get stressed out. Also you guys picked it up what I was thinking of afterwards.

There is a topped turn tracking thread in main ACDG forum. Attach the save there.

I dunno, we should decide upon that pod later. I would prefer to pop it after we get Recycling Tanks - we could then set production of Gaia's Landing to RecTanks and pop the pod - there would be a chance to complete them immediately next turn, which is great. Monolith/bonuses would be great also. Tech - I dunno - it would mess with our beelines probably.

I'm advising Drogue to do the following so you guys don't have to replay.
*plant one base (because we don't want the mindworm as that would be different)
*build former, stockpile energy
*move scout west
*move 2nd colony pod west
*press endturn

The CP is in fungus. There's not much to worry about from random native life at this point, because a worm attacking a scout in fungus now has 3:4 odds, and on the off chance it wins, the CP should still be able to fend off what's left.
Next turn, I'll attempt to move the CP north first, and then move the scout north whether or not the CP made it into fungus. That way, there's no chance of finding native life without being able to attack/capture it.
Ah well, NW or W for the CP is very different than North. Now we are kinda stuck IMO. But you all seem to think that's the right thing to do, so go for it.
Not at all, I have some reservations to this plan, as trolling through fungus is a turn waste for me. I would try to move SP north and then CP either N or NW.

I have to say that nobody had raised any opposition when Chaos Theroy asked for confirmation.
