I think the same way we were checking Fort Sol. Flying a jet to the base.

I also think that number of units they had to kill in 2188 actually surprised them. Only in 2187 we stacked there more units:

1) AAA garrison
2) unity scout chopper
3) Police
4) BR-6
5) F-6
6) F-6

Then they could not use bombers before F-6 were taken.
So first rovers did the stuff. Then 2 bombers.
They could not bomb EM, we had there 2 F-6. Spartans probably ran out of fighters for this round. I think they probably were not able to take both MP and EM in 2188, simply coz of lack of rovers for that purpose.
