Is it time to go FM for a while?

We have all thought about going FM at some stage, even for just a few turns for the energy and research benefits.

Is next turn the time to switch.?

I voted yes.
I think though that we should do it around in 2 turns, when we have tree farms in Kahlua Probing and Enigma Machine. For the reason, that we will have to hurry it for less. Please note though, we cannot hurry and go Free Market at the same turn, you know why.
We also have now potentially dangerous situation - both KP and EM has ecodamage 7. We should hurry tree farms as soon as possible and even if they are for more than 100 EC. Then accumulate even more production there, to as much as new ecodamage limit allows. It is worth it, since we get rid of the xenofungus growth risk. So I would hurry next turn both tree farms. My estmate is:
EM 100 EC
KP 132 EC
total is 232 and we will be able to do it.
Then in 2168 we have tree farms in KC, KP, EM and are ready for free market - in that turn, 2168.

Well, then it is good we're still 'at peace' with Yang if all our credits will be spent next turn.

FM is a want after tree farms.

After TF we do FM and then work some more on defencive units while starting to expand as soon as posible without penalties.

eh, in answer to your question: not quite sure.

I was never quite sure whether we had to beat the native life (my view) or just survive attack.

Yes we have had native life up rising, but not sure if we have to beat them in attack mode or repel them in defence mode, to move to the next Min/ Ec level

all you need is the 'pop' i thought,then it dosnt matter what happans after that. IIRC my min\eco level always went up even when i hadnt killed them yet,but im not sure
