  • Wait one!

    I saw that there were still 2 probes in Heaven's Gate.

    The point of deluding possible infiltration info to the Gaians is that no two probes are in that base while there might be info exchange between the Morgans and the Gaians after our infiltration of the Morgans, this to lighten suspicions.

    Included is the Morgan turn with as a change the second probe moved out of Heavens Gate and put on rest on the crawler near the Hive synth.

              • The 2163 is in. As for the technology outcome, the result is quite positive, but a bit strange. Hercules, after you open the turn, I will write more.

                • Yes I have opened the turn.

                  I have moved our transport to 13,25. The transport moves have ended but we still have probe move options.
                  Land probe unit and move towards Mendelev College, or stay on foil and move to 11.27 next turn . Here the probe could access Menedelev, find out if there is a defence probe and decide.OTOH the probe unit can simply disembark at 11,25 and await next turn also. I tend to favour disembarking now at 11.25.

                  • Secondly we have not acquired SFF but we have acquired Superconducter, presumably via the infiltration mechanism. we have not picked up Impact or SFF.

                    Now we have a Hive impact speeder unit now on our doorstep at Heavens Gate.

                    • I propose to disembark the probe in the fungus instead of on open terrain if possible. I don't remember if that tile was fungus or not, but it is more sneakish for coming in.

                      So, I suppose it's probing the impact rover on HG's doorstep now, yes? I propose to try a traceless mindprobe. Chances are lower but we might avoid war with Yang for a turn or two longer, and if it works we don't have to probe the Hive synth already then.

                      Any opinions on this?

                      Btw, when I opened the turn EM had lot's of extra fungus on worked tiles. Did you have that, Hercules?

                      • I have not explored the cost of mind controlling Hive Impact unit, next to Heavens Gate but its intent is obvious. I suspect it is not that expensive.

                        The options are:
                        Mind control the Impact unit and maybe control without Hive knowledge.
                        Diplomatically ask for withdrawal.

                              • I think we got 2 techs:

                                - Field Modulation
                                - Superconductor

                                Also, the foil transport is in the save I have received where it was, not 13,25.

                                No fungus around EM, but I would take out some minerals in order to decrease the ecodamage. Now we have 18 min/turn and we need only 15 for succesful Garrison completion. It's a pity we have no trance ability yet...
