Which one do you use. I have Tech choices 1.07.xls, but apparently it gave not the result we had.

I quickly simulated another game in which I gave Data Angels all techs we had in 2152. I set research to soc Psych. Then another faction gave pre-accepted Soc Psych and Ethical Calculus to Angels, and now choices were different:

High Energy Chemistry
Field Modulation

It is more complicated than I thought.

With just Soc Psych discovered, 6 choices were offered and then with eth Calc it reduced to those 4.

Ok, so this includes your proposals, Hercules:

• Changing to demo will make the following changes
  Income - 15 -> 18
  Breakthroughs - 39 -> 30 !!!
  Quite a gain, so I would go for it just right now
• We put Ethical Calculus for Gaians, and this finalizes the deal. Sooner than I thought.
• Probe teams in the north move to Heaven's Gate, I thought rover might too.
• Formers nearby go to plant forest as indicated, near that hive sentinel
• Rover from KC move to RPs to replace spore L as garrison. Also when a pod is popped next turn - it is going to have an acces for possible mindworm presence to most of the tiles in the north, south 2 tiles will be covered by scout from SH. So no drone problems this turn, if everything goes right. Spore L moves with the loop as drawn - it will move to the pod from east, I think this will help to prevent appearing mindworms. The problem is that pod is not in the sensor range. Also spore might bombard possible mindworm - should we do it then?
• Other formers some more roads and forests, and also that tile (flat rainy) near the EM might be good for forest. It would possibly remove fungus from ridge to the east, and also might dry the terrain, but then we would harvest the forest. The tile is in blue circle, what do you think about it?
• I plan to rehome one more crawler to RPS, this will allow not to rush probe foil, and still get it next turn.

Fine by me. I am not sure about moving the northern rover. It serves a useful purpose there. Then again it would be useful for exploring. I like your loopy idea with the spore.

• We obtained Optical Computers switched to Intellectual Integrity. Accumulated:22 perturn:17, expected 28 turns (from 30)
• We commissioned the first DA Probe foil. The closest opportunity to probe hive using it appears to be in 2158. The path drawn includes 3 turns and the fourth should reach the only base we know off from the base radius. This is provided no hive sea units are in the way. The travel will be also dangerous because there are 2 fungus tiles in the way - they will actually make this trip so long. The foil awaits our conformation to depart.
• Formers, mainly roads and forests.
• All main bases of size 3 are making network nodes now, growth-NN completion:
  EM 3-3
  KP 4-7
  KC 1-4
  RPS 1-6
  SH 11-16
  So only EM will be on time, the rest will have additional turns with pop 4 and no NN, unless hurried ofcourse.
• Popping the pod between RPS and SH.
• Forwarding Ethical Calculus to Gaians. There are also some new issues regarding our Gaian diplomacy, I will put them in the infotrader thread.

There is a problem. Popping the pod turned out to triger some dimentional shift in space and our spore launcher ended up far east on the Gaian? continent I suppose. See the save file. Also there is something like ruins there? anyway, I entered the monolith and upgraded the launcher in case of some mw attack - there is fungus everywhere around.

What to do?
- leave the spore launcher on the cost, do not inform Gaians and recover it as soon as possible? I would attampt this - fungus should hide the unit, unless Gaians patrol the area. I have an idea, how to do it.

- Inform (Gaians?) the faction and try to decided something with them?

why retreat it?if we move it around the gaians area,we can get valuable maps and say we didnt know it was their turf

it would also make us seem more capable than we are,transport wise,wich might be a bad thing if we want to stay low

Advise the Gaian's about our situation. Explore a bit but then look to an exit point.

In reality both us and the Gaians need to co-operate very quickly. The Spartans are executing an excellent momentum Strategy.

Not against us but we need to be aware of what is happening out there. Btw I am surmising these events.
