      • Any reason for the delay?

        • Looks very serious. Is binTravkin the only person able to play Gaians?
As far as I know, chaos Theory is temporarily unavailable.
Skipping turn is in my oppinion pointless, we could very well declare a winner then.
Do Gaians need some new members/turnplayer?

          • Sorry, this is my fault, I was offlined temporary by the ISP..
Also there appears to be a problem with the turn - it shows 'Angels 2200'.

              • May be my fault somehow. cgn21 also started looping years when i took the turn. I might have played the turn on a laptop or differing smax installs. There was a post at cgn sometime ago about this, but nothing was resolved IIRC(does it even matter?)

                  • Yeah - the Sparta to Gaian save (which should have been 2201) also showed 2200

This does happen occasionally when one saves a game midturn on one machine then opens it with another (I've had that when on the road and partially playing a desktop turn before I go, then finishing on the laptop, but not being able to zip and send until back at the desktop)

edited to get the century correct!!

                    • could one then do the same again and fix the error?

                      • It's not so worrying this time (except for the extended sunspot activity, but that's shouldn't matter)

What's more worryign is that when it resets the year midturn and gives a completely new turn for that player. I had that a couple of years ago - was getting my a$$ kicked by another player, churning out cheap defensive units at low minerals bases and best weapons at higher min bases. I saved midturn, then played some more at work during lunchbreak, and the turn reopened giving me a host of new units just completed.

I was tempted to just play on, and perhaps even stave off the invasion completely, but decided with some regret to abort that and resume from the home machine and just grin and bear the asskicking

while that would be very handy i havnt had anything quite so drastic apear.im playing the current sav on only 1 PC so lets see what happans.

i had that extra turn bug before, but i lost the .sav before figuring out how to replicate it.

                              • Hmm - game is really screwed up - now all our units have already moved (the same positions that they had last turn - can't be moved again)

And when I hit "turn complete" it again prompts to save as "Gaians-2200"

Seems we are stuck in a time-warp
