How come the Angels didn't have a newspaper? How would an outsider make any informed decisions when he/she tries to decide which team to join?

It was, the current borders are following the former DDR border, with Thüringen as Southwestern edge

Only from the introduction thread, really. But then newspapers have never said that much about a faction, except for the amount of spam it can generate (looking at the correlation in the last DG)

Looking from the number of newspaper issues it does seem that the CMN team generates quite some amount of spam.

Though I have to say newspapers do help people to know a faction, especially conveying more current states of its development. The introduction thread was formed in the beginning of the game and may or may not be updated.
