Umm...

That pledge was just an example, you know. We should go about developing a new one specifically for this game. For example, the pledge would be modified to express whom we have actually chosen to be the CMN(s).

BTW, the pledge comes from a Civ3 Team PBEM game at MasterZen Online. The forum for this game may be found here.

Enigma sure has a way to get others' attention. Dispite the fact that he still needs to study how to express his opinions using a more friendly tune, I have to give him credit for carefully reading the pledge and pointing out things that we need to modify to use it for our game.

Enigma you have to understand that people are pledging in spirit and there have already been suggestions that after we nail down the details (such as CMN and turn playing time etc) we post it formally (and top it in my opinion).

Hell, I've already pledged to this, many months ago, in fact. Actually I could find you a few more examples of things I have pledged to at various times. Some of them are good too.

We could always use MZO (MasterZenOnline) as well. It was created when Poly was extremely unreliable for a while before the server move, and all sorts of Civ3 games sort of have backup forums there. Like tomorrow for example, when the server goes down for an hour or two during maintenance.

Its a policy setting, not the law. You follow the spirit of the post and not the letter.
