Seriously, I apologize for that. I promise I will try my best to speed up the turns from now on.

In fact I think this is a very good idea. A small faction, never seek to dominate the entire planet. But just keep itself smart and fit. It takes up underground deals, perform things without the knowlege of the others, and in return other factions pay them to do things that they can't do, or they don't want to do. The best part is that it is utterly neutral, is no threat to anybody, and can be friend with everybody.

Is that the final word on how this faction will play then?

          edit:

Of course this post had to come from a fellow, if somewhat inactive, member of the ORIGINAL Mercenary team over on MZO...

            I haven't joined yet, Tass.

Waiting confirmation of the Mercenary mottos of complete neutrality and not seeking to dominate or become a (obvious) threat.

If they skimp out on me, though, I'll be joining WIA over in the Spartans...Pending the Morganites decision to worship cash through mercenarism as well...

But PEACE had not been viewed as such a team.

If we are going to play with this style, we have to make it very clear that everybody knows our intend.

Ahh I see, thanks! Would it fit the Data Angels' theme?

I look at the Data Angels and think of Mage: the Ascension and their Virtual Adepts... I've always felt a kinship with that group even though I'm not good with technology (I use a Mac for crying out loud, I wish my family would stop calling me to fix their computers... my cousin is a computer science major)

But their 'information should be free' statement gets me hooked every time.

Boy... that was a useless tangent...

Tass and I ran a pretty tight ship. It was kicking ass right up till the time he decided to QUIT and come over to this demogame.

I had some replacements that took over Tass's position for a time, but eventually it ended up just me, and too many RL troubles.

Ended up with 33 issues, more or less.

At it's peak, we had 97 subscribers (emailed copies) and would net 150 hits to the thread.

I don't think I'll have time to start a new paper here, since I'm doing The Messenger in the C3C ISDG right now.

Wow. It does look like a great amount of effort. Love the sheep cartoon.

How do you know how many subscribers you've got?

And if we have our little DA team, perhaps we could do a smaller digital press, where we announce the acceptance and completion of mercentary deals among other things.

Because they all had to send me their E-mail to be put on the distribution list. The subscribers got it E-mailed to them in an HTML email. The cartoons came some time after Tass left IIRC, Aro is actually a professional cartoonist: http://odia.ig.com.br/sites/aroeira/ and was making one for each edition.

As far as effort, THIS was far more effort: http://central.masterzen.net/index.php?showtopic=124
