Have there been any modification made to DataAngel's +4 probing problem with convert ops?

No - it still rolls around for human players, but I'm not sure if it ever was a problem with the AI

(the issue being - when playing as the Angels - or any faction for that matter - that when the probe rating passed a +3 level, instead of going to +4 it then reset at 0, etc - so that only a +6 became a +3 probe rating. She starts off at +2 probe, and with PSA then gets a +2 probe at every base( free covert ops center at each). That essentially resets her to a +1 level and she's screwed, as she then gets no immunity from mind control actions. To get back to the +3 level for immunity, she'd need to run Fundy or Thought Control, which would boost her to +6 (or +3 with the rollarounbd)

I say "not sure re the AI" as I have a lingering memory that when this first cropped up with the Believers it only happened with a human controlled faction, whether SO or PBEM, but that it couldn't be replicated in scenario testing with the AI in command.

I'll test it afresh when I have more time on my hands

So THAT's why we are behind! I can't believe you Comrades! Only because I don't have a copy of SMAC/X and cannot see to things for myself. Such irresponsibility! All these years!
