Went ahead and played it anyway, and the reuslts are as follows:

- Got Planetary Networks and started on Ind. Auto; will get it in 9 years.
- Our income stands at 5 ECs/turn/
- If there is somebody down beyond the ruins, they can't be to the south, as we've just spotted the southern coastline of the Ruins area.

My internet doesn't seem to be working all that well right now, so I couldn't upload any screenshots; I'll see if I can do so later.

Interesting. So it would seem east is our only real expansion direction?

Not necessarily; there's still the possibility that there's land to the west in the Ruins area.

And potentially land to the north where I was sending that scout before.

Where did you end up moving the CP's?

The one at Zoloto-Gold moved north onto the coastal river tile, and the one at University base moved towards the ruins.

It isn't going to the ruins, is it? I thought it was gonna settle on the radar array.

Or is there another tile in production that will settle there soon?

There are two CPs heading south; one is already on the sensor array, and will build a abse there next turn, and the other is heading for the Ruins themselves.

We'll have two new bases from the North and Sensor sites next turn then. Lovely. Time to mess with the slider settings again.
