Great job Cedayon. As you can see.

We have roughly 50, what might collectively and generously be called defensive units, including 16, 1-1-1 Police. The production statistics are revealing and I hope substantiate the case for a stronger defence.

On the second leg of the strategy ie a force of occupation/liberalisation, decent Hive citizens will have a long wait unless we as a nation focus on their liberation.

We will await on our UN inspector's report on Yang's weapons capability, ( some media briefings suggest Yang has long range missle capability - Fusion power , but I am not so sure ) but I suspect our real focus will be change in the HIVE leadership regime. We may as UN Peacekeepers have to put in place a UN force to safeguard liberty and freedom for a number of years.

For the sake of the HIVE population we should start that process now.

The Hive is researching Planetary Economics and we predict they will achieve a breakthrough in approximately 2 years. Despite their continued efforts, the Hive is still quite far from unlocking the secrets of Fusion power.

I wish to add that the inspectors had to be extracted in a military operation, which cost the lives of several good Peacekeepers. If you'll excuse me, I must go write letters to the next-of-kin.

If we want to even think about building a military to liberate the Hive, we definitely need Clean Reactors and Plasma Shards. The we'll be able to shred anything that Yang can send against us (a specialist base to rehoe clean units to would be nice, too).

Half of the total Hive's research is concentrated in three bases only, where they conduct experiment to build weapons of mass destruction :
            - The Hive, where we can disbark troops on two monolithsk. the base is defended by one 1-3+-1 (Hardened) and one 1-3-1 (Hardened). Also an elite Probe Team.
            - Fecundity tower : a coastal base, defended by one 6-3-1, (Hardened) ; one (6)-3-4, (Disciplined), currently 60% damaged ; one 1-3-1 (Hardened).
            - Socialism Tunnels : a base in the middle of the continent, between Markos Crater and the Uranium Flats. Defended by two 4-3-1, one commando, one veteran ; one 6-3-1, Hardened ; one 6-1-10, Green.

A process of disarmamaent and the liberation of the citizens living in these bases would sensibly reduce The Hive's Research.

Personally, I think it would be a better idea to use marines to storm the two abses near The Hive (The Leader's Horde and another one), then move into it from both directions to take the Command Nexus. We can then take a look around and go for important bases, especially once we obtain air superiority.

Of course, in order to do this we'll need clean reactors and a base which we can home our units to to avoid unrest.
