I know, just saying, if I'm needed. And it doesn't look like winning the election will be much of a problem (with you being the only candidate so far )

Well I’m finally back (been busy with school and all) and cough up on what’s going on. And I must say what a sad excuse for an election, so far most people are running unopposed (though I do hope that will change seeing as there are 3 more days for nominations left), that’s why I’m throwing my hat in the ring for Director of Exploration and Intelligence.

If diplomatic relations with Morgan Industries fall through(And I'm hoping they won't, believe me) I would like to nominate myself for Governership of any conquered bases. Especcially Morgan Distrubition.

As for the governor elections I agree with TKG, it makes more sense to see how many people are interested for the position before we being creating regions; also how will the governors be elected is a question we should answer before even discussing the regions.

We really ought to poll this, but I'm passionately against having random regions.
There's no reason, if we make the regions 5 or 6 bases each, that we can't fill each region. That way, there'll be only one or two extra positions, the regions will be fixed, which will add to the roleplay side of things, and we will actually be able to have -contests- for each region.
Actually, I just remembered something. I don't think this has to be polled at all - it's already been covered by a previous poll. The people voted to elect governors. If you're going to adjust the regions every time, so there's no chance of a contest, ever, then WTF is the point of electing them?
i agree with DE the first DIA makes up the regions (4-5 bases) and those are generally fixed...then the governers that gpot the most votes gets assigned a region....or AT makes regions right now so that governer candidates can run for specific regions

I'd elect DIA now to create the regions (that stay fixed IMHO) and then elect Goverors, either as a whole or for each base, in a week or 2.

Have the DIA doing the DTC, DBP and DIE work for a week or 2, with help from the Alpha Talent (and any others if needs be) If it's too much work then maybe not, but I think it can be done for a short time

the first session will be played a week after the election in that time you can have governers elected and regions pick out and have enough time for governer to come up with there orders...
