Another problem with the elections......people outside the game are able to vote. I wouldn't be suprised if there's already been some branch stacking in certain polls.

It's been an issue in all the Demo games before. IIRC there was no way to set who can vote. However, the vote lists *can* be checked, to see who voted who, by the admins (and in some civ3 Dg prez election, they checked for outsider votes since it was a very close call).Cake and grief counseling will be available at the conclusion of the test. Thank you for helping us help you help us all!

As I recall, the Mods/Admins also said they couldn't edit Polls, but...WTF is that (Edit Poll (Mods/Admins Only)) link for then? I've admined on UBB's and vB's before, so it's not as if I don't know they can, because I've done it myself.
Vote lists though.....they don't exist as far as I'm aware.Veni Vidi Castravi Illegitimos

I don't have time to check it right now (damn schoolworkReally? I thought TKG sent a PM to MarkG some time ago to ask if it can be checked who voted for who. The answer was no.
) but I do remember that it was done in the Civ3 DG. I *could* be wrong.
Try looking for the threads about the presidential election where Trip was overthrown as president by Ninot; the result was 80 - 81 or something like that (
).

The reason no-one knew Juliennew was in the running for Director of Base Production is that his post was made really late in the nominations thread, at least a couple of days after I believe nominations were supposed to have ended (although a strict time was not posted). This is not tass' fault, more the case of party bureaucracies slowing down EVERYthing.
But, there is no real reason to exclude Juliennew and others from the elections, so we do have to start the erroneous ones again.
*sigh*

I wonder if I should write an article about this....
Anyway, yes, as Kassiopeia said, I am a "Stressed and Overworked" editor
So when I come home and sit down to update threads, I just skim through it and make updates. Well, sometimes I dont get everyone. So, if I dont see everyone and made a mistake, then....
PUT IT IN BIG, BOLD LETTERS. THAT'LL BE SURE TO CATCH MY EYE
