Free Market involves far more investment to minimize pollution, thus it might be intersting directly about credits, but it will waste so much of our minerals to fight against the fungus, that I wont agree with it.
This is indeed Democracy, and I ll let the choice on Citizen's hands. But the line of the CCCP is very clear : no free market, because it would ruin Planet.
Police State is just out of the question. Except if we are in heavy difficulties at wartime against Morganites (which, of course, will never happen)

I agree with your views on green and on your views on the earth free market system but as you said yourself I believe IT can and WILL work on Chiron. There is no reson to say planned failed on earth but works on Chiron and free failed on earth and fails on Chiron.. You do not no. either do I but to give the people a choise, that is the beginsel of democracy. i propose to use free market as soon as the early expansion period is over.

greens ok for wartime, but free market maximises our capacity to research and make energy quickly. any movement for police state during war will definately be opposed by CCCP it seems.

Ill never give my support to Free Market, because Free Market ruined Earth like Stalin ruined Marx. And I just cannot allow that. I will definetly support a green economy, because despite his restrictions, we have to respect Alpha Centauri if we want to live on it.

This is the official thread for the Centauri Communalism Citizen's Party. Here you can discuss about ideology, social agenda for CCCP, etc...

But for a start, as the funder of the CCCP, I want to explain you what the CCCP is. We are not old stalinists who took the spaceship to Centauri. We are not related to the Hive neither. We are just marxists. We believe in the struggle of social classes, Drones against Talents. We think that the engine of history is this struggle between social classes.
Alpha Centauri is our new chance, to apply marxism, and if we ever find a limit to Marx's wonderful theories, we'll build new theories, and the History will go on !

Our social agenda is very clear : we go for Democracy. Police State is not even an option, and Fundamentalism is stupidity. About economy, we of course favorite a Planned economy. When every worker knows what she/he has to do, things go better. We also favorite Green economy, since we know that the mistakes we have made on Earth shall not be made against Chiron. We cannot tolerate a Free Market economy for the damaged caused to Planet, and favors a Green Economy to develop our research.
We value Knowledge, since every worker, Drone or Talent, has a right to know. Nothing else is an option.
Our future society tends to be Eudaimonia, and it is actually our unique goal : make every people happy.

Our choice about the United Nation Charter is very strict : we do not allow any kind of atrocity. Human life, as Planet life, is far too important to use such nonsense and henious actions. Note also that we consider Punishment Sphere as an atrocity, since it is torture.
