I'm going to hop in and welcome Thud too... as well as advise you, Thud, to stop by the EDP thread, there's some discussion going on about a merger between P4 and EDP and you are certainly welcome to throw in your insights/suggestions.I'm not conceited, conceit is a fault and I have no faults...

mailing list for merger talks
As discussed in the EDP thread, many members of both our parties would like a mailing list to discuss merging the two. So, I've set up the 3D (Democrats for Discovery and Development) mailing list. Email me if you'd like to join (for most of you, that only means responding to the emails I've just sent out).Adam T. Gieseler

The Bloody Baro: Sorry if I missed you in sending out emails. You came between the members who signed up on the first two pages and the two new members, so I might very well have missed you. You should be added to the group now, though.
I'll be making TKG the moderator eventually, if we decide to keep the mailing list, but I want to make sure we have everyone first so that I don't make him do all the work involved. I'll be sending out an email later tonight with a digest of the list traffic that's gone on so far; members can also find an archive at the URL TKG has posted.
About registering with Yahoo: I don't like it either, but Yahoo has bought eGroups, which was the only listserv provider I knew of back when it still existed. They didn't make you register, but Yahoo does. Hopefully it's not too much of a hassle.Adam T. Gieseler

we could keep the mailing list for inter-party polls! other than that though, posting on poly or PMs are better because IMO it's easier to understand and less complicated (also, you get +1 )
registering with yahoo isn't a big deal, just IMO unnecessary. can't see how it would possibly be bad though.

I never had to register to Yahoo... as long as you're invited you don't have to... just use your regular e-mail address... that's what I'm doing.
And be sure to keep the message or remember the way to post there... then you don't ever have to log onto yahoo.I'm not conceited, conceit is a fault and I have no faults...

daa daa daa daa, another one bites the dust
dbts: there really isn't much use for parties. one can still hold an ideological viewpoint as an independent. my stance hasn't changed an inch from where i was in the CDC...i'm just an independent now
welcome to the world of freedom and conscience voting
