Sometimes it may even work better if you hide your teeth so others think you don't have them, and make sure it is too late when they do realize that they are wrong.
Be good, and if at first you don't succeed, perhaps failure will be back in fashion soon. -- teh Spamski
Yes, but they do not know the length of the teeth.

This is all well and interesting... For one thing though, Planet look ovaline... And for our teeth, why do you think roses have thorns? Those are meant to defend us!
I'm pretty sure I read all of Conversations... its what they have posted here on 'poly, two pages on the internet, don't know how many on Word processing... I started liking it right before the Govenor retired... personally though, I thought that Unlike Minds was much better... It seemed to capture the actual flavor of the factions throughout the whole story...

Ouro - if you liked the anthologies then I should get my butt in gear. There are two others that are finished (but unposted), and one more in the works. Conversations was ~200 pages long in Word; it was the first anthology I posted. I'll check to see what is posted here on Apoloton. BTW - I'm almost always the Gaians in the anthologies, but have also role played Zak, Morgan, and now The Hive.
A side note on PBEM: it is my observation that PBEM’s are generally bloody minded since SMAX offers no real penalties for using every form of atrocities and ‘evil’ act known to humanity (or invented by the game designers). As such, I’ve typically shied away from them since a role-played faction like the PKs or Gaians would always have to compromise their principles, and really ‘lose’ in the process. The PBEMs I’ve done have been for role-playing purposes. ‘Winning’ was secondary.
Are all the anthologies with MasterBuilder? Like I said, I thought they were awesome.... I'd love to try to, except for no one around here likes strategy... Starcraft is the closest they come, and in that they're all n00b carrier people... my brother is the only one who plays SMAC or SMAX... and he's a 32 year old genius who won't play against me... Zak would be interesting to hear...
As for Tass, not only does he like it, he asks for it.... I mean, trying to bore holes?

Hi all. Is there room for one more ? If so, count me in. I only play transendent level and my 1st SMAC victory (many years ago) was as a Gaian so I have a warm place in my heart for the fair Lady D. These days I've been doing well with The Peacekeepers but I think it would be fun to go green again.

Absolutely no interest for our faction whatever
Gaian Council is holding an emergency meeting because of this matter. All indication show that no one is interested in our faction. This, combined with information that Gaians are to attacked right from the start of the game, makes an indication that perhaps it is time to decide if we want to continue with this. Poll is being held at temporary Gaian HQ (our private forum).
