    But seriously, if we want large scale real sea battles, we could move airpower to even later in the tech tree and make it harder for those who like chop and drop.

      Though air power is very deadly for all those costly ships (but the "too costly" part will be fixed) that don't have AAA, the chop-and-drop tactic won't be as useful in an aquatic game, since you can't drop units in a sea base.

        (You can tell I haven't really learnt that yet. ) But you'll still have some nice one cell land base with free perimeter defence if we go with the compromise option and it can be used there? Although on a second thought, that might be actually quite fun.

          Full land, though I'd settle for compromise. Therefore if compromise gets almost 50%, count mine for that so we don't need another poll. Looks like it'll win anyway.
