Thank you for your trust Moomin and Mongoose. We the Hivers will hold up our honor proudly.

Comrade Forlani said thanks too, btw.

There is resistance to giving him CMN-type powers

There is resistance to giving him private-forum access powers

There is resistance to banning him, albeit temporarily

There is resistance to having every faction employ the manoeuvre

Is there any resistance to continuing as if nothing has happened, and let the Hive gain what it can from this knowledge?
I indeed resisted to all those four things, for reasons mentioned in the other thread. But I add my voice to the chorus of mooming and Mongoose, saying to continue like nothing has happened.

I suppose you would like a personal thanks from Comrade Forlani too, don't you second function?

In fact my personal feeling is that Tass is well suited with the Historian role with his creativity. If you keep him busy at something he loves, I doubt he'll have any time to make trouble for anybody else.

I'm all for the Historian role, but letting him carry on is a big disadvantage to others IMHO. If he promises not to say anything it would be almost acceptable, but I still have serious reservations. It is a huge advantage, and if they are allowed to know it, then everyone should be, although that is bad too, as it is info that we all shouldn't have (as I explained in a PM to Googlie).

I am very much against the last option,a lthough a promise from Tass not to release anything (and having Googlie checking as always) it is more paletable. I favour his ascention to Assistant God, and a temporary ban as the next best option. If needs be, let him back in, although I am against it, and he must promise not to release or act upon any information gained illegally.

As a Hiver I would very much like Comrade Tass remain with us. However from a higher point of view for the entire ACDG, I have to say I entirely agree with the prime function that the best way is for Tass to become the historian. May I suggest that we allow him to be the historian and give him the chance to prove himself that he can be unbiased at same time as being creative. We could ask him to agree that if he did anything that is not appropriate, that hurts any faction in this ACDG game, he will be permanently banned from the game. This is a very strict condition to me, that I hope it can eliviate some people's concerns.

Yet another poll to solve it?

I'll take any rewards from Comrade Forlani, no-one else seems to be able to get my implants to shine like her I mean I would graciously accept any gifts on behalf of the CyCon...

*cough* Did someone say a poll?

No need, as I would agree to it. In fact, I would agree to a permaban from Poly as a whole as punishment.
