      Sorry Zoet, but you're still not reading me. I'm not measuring squat and my "construction" is not an alternative. I'm saying we don't know enough to make a conclusion and that any sort of "educated guess" is unfounded.

      Here's the logic process going on: Make assumptions, draw inferences from those assumptions, and base a conclusion off the inferences. Not only crappy logic, but completely and totally dependent upon the base assumptions. Given that the assumptions are "unsure" and that "we don't know," it's silly to draw any sort of conclusion at all. GIGO.

      That said, it's worth talking about over a beer, and I'll even buy the beers.
