Yea, I agree with all that. Wonders, resources & great people are definitely muted and kind of boring. But city states are hugely powerful and exciting. So we didn't so much lose excitement, we just transferred it to a new feature. But I'm sure there will be plenty of balancing and tweaking yet to come.
