    Well you might speculate that this is because at this point that the gameplay is still very much in flux and they don't want to say something that could change 10 times before release. Were as what they plan for graphics isn't going to change much between now and release so it's a safter bet to talk about now.

      Not really. It was very one dimensional. The AI would only look at the here and now and not take into consideration changing game environment. If it wanted a conquest victory it would staunchly follow that, even if stuck on an island by itself it would still build a large land army. It wouldn't adapt to the situation.

        They've been hinting at some sort of city expansion. Does this been the fat-cross can expand beyond the two levels(like in ctp2), that the city itself can grow to take up multiple tiles, or something else?
