    They should have a simple on-line registration that would be eventually removed with patch 1.something. If one wants to get the game, they will one way or another, the on-line registration will serve only as a reminder that unless you do that, you are doing something wrong.

    Any other type of protection would simply cause honest people too much pain. Also, in all other cases, there will be people buying the game and then using a pirated version.

        Yeah... it is a shame that in most cases, the only people hurt by anti piracy protection are the legitimate owners who actually give them money. No matter what they come with, it won't stop piracy, and it will just be a pain in the *** for their customers.

          Well despite the fact that any DRM scheme is a losing battle that just catches legal owners in the cross fire. It is here to stay, so there is not much point in getting upset about it. We can only hope that any DRM is as unintrusive as possible.
