I think, this project will be somehow interesting. But no idea, if the result will be good. If anybody can create a complex game on a social networking palttform, that it is sure Firaxis. The only question is, If it is really playable and fun.Comment

Civilization World (formerly known as Civilization Network) was a social network version of the iconic Civilization series, designed to be played on platforms like Facebook. The game was officially announced by Sid Meier and Firaxis Games back in 2009, with a promise of bringing the Civilization experience to a collaborative, multiplayer environment.
The beta testing phase for Civilization World began around 2010, and the full game was officially launched in July 2011. It featured teamwork-focused gameplay, where players could join "civilizations" and work together to achieve goals like cultural, economic, or military victories.
