I think, this project will be somehow interesting. But no idea, if the result will be good. If anybody can create a complex game on a social networking palttform, that it is sure Firaxis. The only question is, If it is really playable and fun.
In developing an exciting new strategy game Civilization Network is right now. A web-based online gaming experience, culture network together with your friends to join you for allowing the world's most powerful, the rich smart, or just plain good to build civilization.
You can search down in the internet and make sure to choose the best and reliable source about this stuff. There are so many civilization networks that you can find but not all are reliable and useful. Be wise enough!

It sounds like you're referring to Civilization Network, which was the original name for what later became Civilization World—a social network-based version of the Sid Meier's Civilization series. The game was announced by Sid Meier in 2009, designed to bring the Civilization experience to platforms like Facebook. Key Details:
What is it? A multiplayer version of Civilization, tailored for social interaction on platforms like Facebook. Players could collaborate or compete with friends in managing civilizations, conducting diplomacy, and engaging in wars.
Beta Sign-Up: When it was announced in 2009, Firaxis Games encouraged fans to sign up for beta testing. The beta officially launched in 2010.
Release: The game was eventually renamed Civilization World and officially launched on Facebook in 2011.
Reception and Closure: Despite the excitement, the game struggled to capture the magic of the main series and was eventually shut down in 2013.
Unfortunately, as of now, the game is no longer available. If you're a Civilization fan, you might find interest in the main series or spin-offs like Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri. Master Fence Rental

Civilization World (formerly known as Civilization Network) was a social network version of the iconic Civilization series, designed to be played on platforms like Facebook. The game was officially announced by Sid Meier and Firaxis Games back in 2009, with a promise of bringing the Civilization experience to a collaborative, multiplayer environment.
The beta testing phase for Civilization World began around 2010, and the full game was officially launched in July 2011. It featured teamwork-focused gameplay, where players could join "civilizations" and work together to achieve goals like cultural, economic, or military victories. However, the game struggled to retain its audience due to the shift in mechanics from the traditional Civilization formula, and it was eventually shut down in May 2013. st petersburg grand prix events
